After I graduate I plan to go to medical school and after all of my training I want to specialize in Cardiac surgery. I was talking to my father and he says that since I'm type 1 diabetic I don't have the stable and hand control to become a surgeon and would not likly be accepted. I don't think being diabetic affects how well I can do things...
I wanted to be a surgeon ever since I was 12 and this would be disapointing. what do you think?That is ridiculous, your ability to perform has nothing to do with your diabetics. If you take care of yourself, you have the skills and education you can be a surgeon.
