I have a divorced male friend who has a son, who play with our sons. "I am married."
We have gotten to know each other through our kids. Recently my sons saw him with a woman. When he saw them, he took his hands off of her and looked at them surprised.
I admit I am a little jealous, but what does it say about him?It says that he doesn't appreciate your kids knowing his every move. Quite right. His affairs as a newly single man are his business. As for your jealousy, well that's your own complicated mess to sort out. Possibly you thought you might be gaining a free baby sitter and single flirty man friend for life. Whatever.
You are married. And you and your husband have children together. Time to give your friend his space and don't assume that your children's friendships should mean any thing significant between the two of you. Go home and tend your own hearth woman. He may have took his hands off the women because his son may not know about her yet and he doesn't want his son to hear that he's dating from his friends before he found the right time to tell him. As for you, you shouldn't be jealous because you're married. If you find yourself jealous then maybe you should keep your distance from him because obviously there may be some feelings on your part. You are jealous because he is important to you, maybe more that you want to believe.Yes.. Nevermind him ; it appears you have your own emotions to deal with.....
