PHP 5.2.5 hit Xcache

I fixed it and the xcache is working now

I put xcache commands in httpd.con before the Zend line

I have had XCache 1.2.2 working fine with PHP 5.2.5 for a few months now. I've since upgraded PHP to 5.2.6 and it works fine as well.

I had installed xcache 1.2.1 again after I upgraded php 5.2.6 and apache to 2.2.8

a messages came to me after i did 'make install:

Build complete.
Don't forget to run 'make test'.
Failed loading /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429/xcache.so: /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429/xcache.so: undefined symbol: OnUpdateInt
bogus test name tests/

and when I put the xcache commands lines in php.ini then i try to restart the apache
this happened :

httpd restart
httpd not running, trying to start
(98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80

then i removed the line that has extention for xcache.so from php.ini
and i restarted the apache but xcache not loaded

with your experiencee, do you know where the error

I have server CENTOS Enterprise 4.6 with apache 1.3
two days ago I updated php to 5.2.5..
Xcache not loaded

I searched about this problem in internet ,i Found the php 5.2.5 has a bug with xcache , and no body can run xcache with php 5.2.5

is this true??

Xcache works fine with 5.2.5, If you have updated php you may need to reinstall xcache.
