what would you do with it?

i would give half to charities of different sorts and spend the rest on my castle i want to build in the mountains of california.

charities have enough money

500,000-put it in the bank
500,000-spend it

Buy myself a house, set my life up, and my parents life, and would just put the rest in the bank, and would use some to invest it in something.

give some to my family
buy an isolated house
go see bands
charitie's lucky day
buy automatic weapons and fortify my house
buy some bass, guitar, equipment ect,
tarantulas, scorpions, lizards
albums and save the rest for college and bills

lol - I would be a afraid a banker or automaker would show up on my doorstep....

I would bailout the Treasury Department.

10% to church
another 10% to charity

pay off all my debt, including hubbys car, house..
pay off all my families homes :] [dad, sister, dad-in-law]
buy myself a car
go on a vacation
and then whatever is left, i would invest half, and other half, put in savings.. or something, and live my life to the fullest :]

i wouldnt bail out wall st. !!!

I'm actually thinking of applying for my personal bailout.

Transfer it into Euros.

retire at the age of 16.

Set up my family for a totally secure future. Help lots of truly deserving families become self sufficient, Buy a small island that I could use as a retreat and set up some perpetual scholarships for people that could maintain a 3.75 minimum GPA. Get a nice boat to get back and forth to my island and also learn to fly a plane. Chill out with my Wife and enjoy the rest of our lives together.

I'd live modestly but comfortably.

I'd give lots to family and friends. I'd probably start my OWN charitable organization, so I'd know exactly where the money was going.

Take care of my family and the needy.

i'd buy a new car and a few houses. one southern california, one on long island, and one in hawaii. then i'd buy my parents and brothers some nice houses where every they would want them. then i'd tell them that they'd never have to work anymore and they can do anything they'd like. i'd also give money to research certain diseases and illnesses.

I would bail out the auto industry

I would like to invest half of it, give one fourth to the Save Darfur fund, and use the rest for college.

I would also try to free the woman from Zimbabwe who is a human rights activist, and was arrested by the police at her house.

Build another mansion in Hawaii -$120,000,000
Build ANOTHER mansion in California -$120,000,000
Buy a private island -$200,000,000
Invest a bunch of money in the bank. $1,000,000+10 years in the bank=$2,000,000! And so on.

Keep in mind....a Billion dollars is a *Thousand Million* dollars, and a LOT of money. At this point if you only invest *one tenth* of a percent in income-generating funds you will still *never be broke again*. Ever.

So...I'd *Buy* an island outright, and if none were for sale, I'd hire an Oil Drilling Platform making company to *MAKE* me one. I'd own my own island and make my own nation on that kind of money. Seriously.

And from there, people would be *really scared* of the Latter Day People's Republic *and also* Theme Park of Upper *Bradistan* !! *rofl* =]] Not because of the military threat, mind you, but just because of the *cultural threat* to ordinary civilization as we know it...

Trust me....Life would get weird in a heartbeat if I owned my own island nation. ^__^

Just saying. Not like I'll *ever* have that kind of money--or even want it anyway, eww. Billionaires are too damned rich, they suck. Literally, that kind of wealth only matters as a *privative*, or money that others *don't have*. o_o

Share it with everyone I know and help out some that I do not know.
