I have a MacBookPro with Parallels that lets me have windows xp. The mac side is online. I believe I got a virus on the PC side, my Norton 08 expired. Anyways I bought 09 Norton to fix, but still can't connect no matter what I do. What are some simple steps to get that working again?Symantec offers a free scan of your PC here:

Then install Norton 09You probably would have to reinstall your operating system
(if you have the disk) But that will erase all your files so back up the important ones first.if you ran the anti virus and still does not work you could
a. take it to a professional to have it fixed
b. if you have the original disks do a format, it is advised to backup any data, but in this case it is too late as you would also be 'backing up' the virus so don't do this#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
