1. Buy or lease vbulletin here on this site.
2. Download vbulletin to my computer and set it up the way I want it.
3. Register a domain name.
4. Find a host and upload my forum to them
Am I right about this? Also I wondered if, instead of buying from you... are there sites (hosts) out there that offer ready set up "templates" for vbulletin forums that I could use?
Also, I want to make the forum in Norwegian, and I want to know if it is possible for me to change the the text. Like could I change "search this forum" to "søk i dette forumet."
I saw that someone wanted to do this in Kroation and that you were interested in working with him to make it right...
Thank you.
Also for the lettering check the language pack forums here. I'm not sure if someone has made a norwegian language pack but you can check and see if anyone has made one or is willing to make one.
Hope this helps you out a bit,

No, it is not a problem if you don't need this on your computer if you install vbulletin on a web host.
Thank you for your interest in the vBulletin forum software and for contacting vBulletin Sales.
1. Yes, you can buy a leased or a owned license from this web site. Buying it from this web site assures you that you do not have a frauded or a warez version.

3. Yeah, usually when you buy a hosting account with a hosting provider you are given the option to let them register a domain for you, or you can do it yourself. I recommend using namecheap.com to register a domain name.
4. Yes, you can install vb fresh on the host, or upload the copy and database you have created on the localhost. Hosting providers like theplanet.com or futurequest.com or a small orange , etc will run vbulletin just fine. More hosting providers can be found through google.com
You can not buy themes/styles for vBulletin from our web site. You have to get them somewhere else. However, we do offer free ones for download to licensed customers. You can find them on this web site.
vBulletin uses an enhanced language / phrase system. You can change all the english text into any language you want. Changes are a .NO language pack is already ready for download at no cost, from this site. This language pack is unofficial and made by our customers.

Thank you both for excellent advice! I have a question related to the above quote though.
I am pretty sure I don't have Apache/PHP/MySQL installed on my computer :o Is that a problem?
When I read your paragraph noted 4. I get the impression that I can buy/download vBulletin from you here and without running it on my local computer upload it to my host and there set it up as I please. Am I correct in my assumtion?
Thank you again for taking the time to read and answer my post!
