Hello, I'm familiar with XBMC but not all it's capablities as I just bought a modded X-Box running XBMC 360 with a 120 gig hard drive. One of my main motivations for getting a modded Xbox is it's music and it's storage capabilities. My question is a simple two part one. 1) I know you can stream info from the P.C. to the xbox but can you do it vice versa. (Stream saved files on the xbox's hard drive to the P.C.) 2) If so, what file format does it show up on your computer as? A few weeks ago a friend and I found a series of caves and we're wanting to go back before the snow hits and explore the inside a little more. I don't think headlamps and flashlights will give the needed light to take a decent picture of the inside. Has anyone run into this type of issue and how did you set up your ligthing? I've got a Minolta Maxxium5 AF 35mm camera if that makes any difference.You'll be wanting a tripod and probably a lantern I would think. Basically, as there's not going to be much light, you won't be able to hand-hold the camera as the exposure will be quite long. Had to get a few after the ceremony ( story in and of itself) shots outside, well it went so long inside that it was dark outside. Used a speed light aimed at the ground to bounce the light and avoid the guaranteed red eye. Well it didnt work got ole red eye anyhow. Post fixed it but I thought the bounce angle would have eliminated the on axis light from giving the ole red eye. Although I can achieve smooth transitions when switching between sound files (with button commands) even when interrupting a file in the middle of its playing process, when switching to a flv video file after a playing audio file was interrupted causes a nasty audible audio click at the start the very start of the audio of the video player (using ns:stream method). I have tried 'stopAllSounds' on the video play button but to no avail. This does not happen when the audio file was stopped or completed till the end, neither when the streaming video file is called and starts playing without preceeding audio file. The reason wh I bout this stock is because for eaxmple : the highest prince of AIG in the last 52 weeks was $ 62.3 for FRE was $37.3 and for ABK was $30.3. Hello, I just upgraded to the latest T3CH April 6th build (from Sept 27 2007 build). I upgraded because I did not have an option when using the IMDB scraper to grab posters from the internet for my vids. I see in the wiki that this support was added, there is a SETTINGS option when you choose Set Content for a directory and then select Movies - IMDB. That settings option now shows up where it should, but it doesn't do anything. When I select it, it doesn't seem to do anything at all. I was expecting the menu as described in the wiki. Hello, I'm currently in the process of buying some new equipment and would like to hear some advice. 1. I'm going to buy a tripod. Now my eye-height is about 175cm, the camera viewfinder reduces this by 7cm and the head by about 10cm which leaves roughly 158cm of tripod height. Now there are quite some tripods which can deliver this with the middle column extended. But I've read in several places that extending the middle column is actually a bad idea for stability. Is this true generally or only if there is wind or similar? I've not seen a tripod yet which gives such a height without extended center column. Another criteria would be weight. A few weeks ago a friend and I found a series of caves and we're wanting to go back before the snow hits and explore the inside a little more. I don't think headlamps and flashlights will give the needed light to take a decent picture of the inside. Has anyone run into this type of issue and how did you set up your ligthing? Used a speed light aimed at the ground to bounce the light and avoid the guaranteed red eye. Well it didnt work got ole red eye anyhow. Although I can achieve smooth transitions when switching between sound files (with button commands) even when interrupting a file in the middle of its playing process, when switching to a flv video file after a playing audio file was interrupted causes a nasty audible audio click at the start the very start of the audio of the video player (using ns:stream method). I have tried 'stopAllSounds' on the video play button but to no avail. This does not happen when the audio file was stopped or completed till the end, neither when the streaming video file is called and starts playing without preceeding audio file. Hello, I just upgraded to the latest T3CH April 6th build (from Sept 27 2007 build). I upgraded because I did not have an option when using the IMDB scraper to grab posters from the internet for my vids. I see in the wiki that this support was added, there is a SETTINGS option when you choose Set Content for a directory and then select Movies - IMDB. That settings option now shows up where it should, but it doesn't do anything. When I select it, it doesn't seem to do anything at all. I was expecting the menu as described in the wiki. » Need some tripod and filter advice
Hello, I'm currently in the process of buying some new equipment and would like to hear some advice. 1. I'm going to buy a tripod. Now my eye-height is about 175cm, the camera viewfinder reduces this by 7cm and the head by about 10cm which leaves roughly 158cm of tripod height. Now there are quite some tripods which can deliver this with the middle column extended. But I've read in several places that extending the middle column is actually a bad idea for stability. Is this true generally or only if there is wind or similar? I've not seen a tripod yet which gives such a height without extended center column. Another criteria would be weight. Im looking to upgrade shortly and ive been looking at the canon 30d....has anyone out there got one already if so are they any better than the 20d?? Does vBulletin have a portal availible? My forum currently uses iPB Free which allows us to have a simple homepage which has welcome messages, statisics, lastest posts and the shoutbox on. Is there a similar thing on vBulletin or will there be or will I need to create a homepage and have a /forums section?There is nothing built into the software but there are free portals available at www.vbulletin.org (http://www.vbulletin.org) which integrate easily.
